Head of Information Technology · Acting Head of Accounting · London
More than ten years across core banking, payments, SWIFT, production application support, serverless cloud platforms, data automation, security and technology leadership. Head of IT for a regulated London branch, still hands-on in Python/FastAPI, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle on AIX, Windows services and AWS with Terraform.
London, United Kingdom · Formerly Jakarta, Indonesia
Profile
I joined Bank Negara Indonesia in 2015 through its IT Officer Development Program and spent the next seven years in the core banking division at head office, first as an engineer and then managing a core banking team. That work ran on IBM AIX, COBOL and Oracle: daily batch, posting and general-ledger flows, and the messaging that connects the core to channels and downstream systems. Delivery included the core banking implementation for the New York branch, data segregation for the BNI Syariah to BSI merger, and national payment schemes such as BI-FAST, QRIS and Virtual Account.
In 2022 I moved to the London branch, first as IT and Accounting Supervisor, where I led the SWIFT MT-to-MX / ISO 20022 migration, and since 2024 as Head of Information Technology, accountable for the branch's application landscape, infrastructure, cybersecurity and its technology obligations under the PRA and FCA. Since January 2026 I have also served as Acting Head of Accounting, which keeps me close to the ledger, the financial controls and the reporting that the systems exist to serve.
I still write code. In 2026 I reverse-engineered and replaced a failed, undocumented SWIFT gpi Universal Confirmation flow with a fail-closed Python/Oracle platform that has delivered roughly 2,000 live confirmations with zero interface rejections, and productionised a Terraform-managed AWS reporting platform that authenticates unattended Windows workloads through IAM Roles Anywhere with no static credentials. Alongside that sit Murex treasury integration, a SharePoint/SPFx reporting portal and automated reconciliation that removed about 75% of recurring manual effort.
The engineering is backed by an MSc in Data Science from the University of Essex, completed in 2026, certifications in Python, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Microsoft Entra identity and Oracle AI, and a public engineering portfolio on GitHub built on synthetic data and generic architectures.

Oracle and python-oracledb, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AIX, Linux and Windows Server, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, SharePoint/SPFx and Microsoft Graph.
Head-office and vendor coordination, mentoring, change and problem management, staged cutovers, audit-grade documentation and regulators.
Selected work
Three of twenty-three case studies across SWIFT, cloud platforms, core banking and infrastructure.
SWIFT gpi · London Branch · 2026
Reverse-engineered a failed, undocumented Fiorano ESB flow from Oracle and 7,932 recovered confirmations, then replaced it with a fail-closed Python/Oracle service with byte-exact MT199 generation and acknowledgement-led idempotency.
Outcome · ~2,000 live confirmations, zero SWIFT-interface rejections
Cloud · London Branch · 2026
Terraform-managed serverless platform on S3, DynamoDB, KMS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Cognito, SNS, CloudWatch and EventBridge, with unattended publishing through IAM Roles Anywhere and PKI.
Outcome · Zero static credentials and no dependence on human AWS sessions
Payments · London Branch · 2022 – 2023
Led the migration end to end: schema mapping, validation, dual-publish reconciliation and consumer-by-consumer cutover, with MT⇄MX translation so back-office systems kept operating.
Outcome · No production breakage, data loss or reconciliation breaks
Engineering portfolio
Public engineering projects demonstrating financial systems, software engineering, data, AI, identity/security and DevOps, using synthetic data and generic architectures. Together they follow one transaction lifecycle: the ledger records it, the C++ engine processes it at the systems level, the pipeline curates it, the ML service scores it.
